WORDS FROM THE PRESIDENT'S DESK
The PRBC proves that loyalty to the Word of God and the fundamentals of the faith provide the appropriate foundation and perspective for the university student. Most young people want discipline and direction. They want the security of knowing that there are some "thou shalt nots" that must be obeyed. Most young people do not want to be excluded from the answer to Pilate's question, "What is truth?" To know the answer to this question, it is first necessary to know the Lord Jesus Christ as Lord and personal Saviour and to be grounded in the Word of God. The PRBC maintains high academic standards; but more than that, the PRBC refuses to be a place where young people can do what they please, dress as they please or say what they please. Standards of discipline and dress will be strictly maintained. The PRBC teaches loyalty to the Word of God. We believe that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. We try to lead each student to a deeper knowledge of Jesus Christ and a complete surrender of his life to God's will. We believe that no young person is prepared for life unless his life is completely surrendered to the Son of God. In days in which modern education is known for bankruptcy of character and a lack of discipline, this College believes in a completely different kind of education, built upon a foundation that will last forever. Parents can be sure that the training received at the PRBC will not undermine their students' faith and morals, nor will it tolerate the excessive liberalism that exists today. In the PRBC, the students find fellowship, understanding, a sincere interest in the students by the faculty and administration, a Christian atmosphere, a warm and sincere Biblical philosophy and an opportunity to be completely prepared to face the challenges of life, face the controversies of the day, and know how to stand for the truth in the midst of the trends of chaos and confusion. Above all, the PRBC is dedicated to training students to be obedient to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, to win souls and disciple them for His glory. M.A. Casillas, Ph.D. |
