Caleb Motley
Our spotlight this month is on Caleb Motley, who is a freshman here at Puerto Rico Baptist College. Caleb’s parents, Rev. & Mrs. Michael Motley, are missionaries church-planting in Anasco, Puerto Rico. Last year, Caleb visited PRBC and believed that the Lord was leading him to the college to study. Not only did God lead Caleb to the college, but He provided for Caleb’s needs in a very special way. At the beginning of the year, Caleb made out a list of the things that he needed for the school year, and he prayed that God would meet his needs. He did not tell anyone else about this list. Just before school began, two ladies from one of the churches in Puerto Rico who are helping to support Caleb came to him and wanted to buy some things for him to use at school. They had made a list of things that they thought he would need, and everything that Caleb had prayed for was on their list! They even thought of some things that Caleb had not thought about. God use this church and these two ladies to supply Caleb’s needs in a very special way. Caleb is in school preparing to be a missionary, and with faith lessons like this, it is clear that God has a very special ministry waiting for him.
